These files are out-dated and kept only for reference.

For Japanese input in please use other X11 input methods, 
like x-ibus:en_US.utf-8 in Yudit / Linux.

On Macintosh the name Kinput in Yudit is the non-english 
text input the machine is using. Japanese input works
best on this platform.

On Windows the input for Japanese is called WindowsIM 
in Yudit.

Japanese input with canna and kinput2.

Short install guide. *.alpha.rpm sould be substituted with file names
reported by the rpm --rebuild command.

rpm --rebuild Canna-3.5b2-51.src.rpm
rpm --i Canna-3.5b2-51.alpha.rpm
rpm -iU Canna-devel-3.5b2-51.alpha.rpm
rpm -iU Canna-libs-3.5b2-51.alpha.rpm

rpm --rebuild kinput2-v3-14.src.rpm
rpm -i kinput2-canna-wnn6-v3-14.alpha.rpm

/etc/rc.d/init.d/canna start
kinput2 -canna &
